Our service is community-based, which means we visit you in the comfort of your own home, retirement village or residential aged care facility! Kirrily has worked as an Occupational Therapist for over 15 years graduating from the University of Queensland in 2006. Since graduation she has worked in a variety of public health and private community roles both in Australia and the United Kingdom.
Kirrily is registered with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA). She is a member of Occupational Therapy Australia and the World Federation of Occupational Therapists.
Kirrily’s passion for working with older adults began over 10 years ago whilst working within the local Transition Care Program. Kirrily considers working with clients in their own home a privilege, and loves seeing them overcome personal challenges and achieve goals that make a lasting difference to their quality of life.
Kirrily started Age Well Therapy with a desire to help as many older adults remain living safely and confidently in their own homes for as long as possible. Kirrily believes with the right support and knowledge everyone can age well and continue to live everyday with purpose and meaning.
Outside of work, you’ll either find Kirrily enjoying the great outdoors with her young family, getting creative with her sewing machine, or relaxing with a hot cup of tea and a good book.
